Together with the 42nd Annual Meeting of the Italian Spine Society for Vertebral Surgery and Italian Scoliosis Group (42. Congresso nazionale della Società Italiana di Chirurgia Vertebrale e Gruppo Italiano Scoliosi) the Spondylolisthesis hands on course for residents on RealSpine took place on the 31.05. in Venice-Mestre. The course was led by Prof. Massimo Balsano who is an experienced surgeon in spine surgery and the director of the Regional Spinal Department Santorso in Vicenza, Italy. The society offers practical courses for beginners and experienced surgeons giving them the possibility to acquire basic surgical skills as well as complex technical skills. The hands-on course attracted residents from all over Italy and received very good feedback from the participants.
The Italian Spine Society for Vertebral Surgery and Italian Scoliosis Group is one of the oldest orthopedic societies in Italy. They come together at least once a year to exchange clinical and scientific ideas and experiences on the prevention, study and treatment of spinal disorders with experts from in and outside Italy.
