RealSpine - Endoscopic Interlaminar Approach

What do you think, how many endoscopic spine operations does it take until a surgeon feels confident enough to operate on a patient?

Of course, there is no exact number, but it is common sense that repetition is the mother of learning. This applies not only to spinal surgery but especially to minimally invasive procedures such as endoscopic spine surgery, which demand special skills from the surgeon. Our endoscopic model, developed in collaboration with experts in spine surgery, supports the development and perfection of the required surgical skills.

Advantages of RealSpine Endoscopic Training System

With the new endoscopic model, you are able to professionally operate all pathologies available with RealSpine as usual. The new module includes patient cases like disc herniation on both sides and basic and advanced spinal stenosis cases for decompression procedures. The access is made by the surgeon and the pathology is free to choose. Like all RealSpine patient modules, the new endoscopy module is based on a real patient case. It has integrated bleeding and is also hermetically sealed. Water flushing, arising bubbles and simultaneous bleeding allow the training of difficult visibility during surgery.

We would like to thank Dr. Jean-Yves Fournier (Chief Physician of the Department of Neurosurgery, Hôpital du Valais. Sion), Dr. Jörg Silbermann (Chief Physician Spinal Surgery and Neurotraumatology, Waldkrankenhaus Gera) and Dr. Ralf Wagner (Spine Surgeon, Senior Physician at the Ligamenta Spine Center) for their support during the validation process.
