Realists launches RealSpine Cervical
Realists Training Technologies GmbH, the company that develops complete solutions for surgical spine training, proudly announces the further expansion of its product portfolio of services and surgical training concepts for spinal surgery with the launch of the new RealSpine cervical model.
The new model maps a myelopathy in segment C3-C7 and allows a posterior microscopic, exoscopic or open approach using navigation. The model also allows lateral mass screws and pedicle screws placement. All structures can be manipulated as you are accustomed from all the other RealSpine patient cases. That means, the dura can be sutured and bones and soft tissue can be treated with a drill. The cervical model is thus useful for complication training such as managing a blood loss or dura injury.
„As up to now we have focused exclusively on the area of the lumbar spine. We are now excited to launch a highly realistic cervical model that will help train highly complex cervical interventions,” said Dr. Luis Bernal, CEO and Founder of Realists Training Technologies GmbH.
As with all RealSpine models, the developmental process of the cervical model has been accompanied by various surgical experts. In doing so, we have developed a high-quality model that is perfect for the realistic scenariobased training of surgeons.
We especially thank Dr. Roger Härtl and Dr. Harry Gebhard, who have assisted us during the development with their experience and expertise.
Realists Training Technologies GmbH will showcase the new RealSpine cervical model at the upcoming EUROSPINE 2019 in Helsinki from 16.-19. October 2019 at booth # 9B.
