As a service provider for surgical spine training we offer comprehensive surgical training services in a realistic training environment – where, when and how it is needed.

At Realists, we believe that realistic authentic training environments can revolutionize the world of surgery.

That's why we at Realists are dedicated to this unique and exciting field.

The history of our training technologies started around 9 years ago at the University of Applied Sciences (HTWK) in Leipzig as part of a research project. Haptic high-fidelity training systems with realistic anatomy and fluids integrated into a didactically sound training concept were rather unknown in spine surgery at that time. We were nevertheless convinced that such a training concept with patient simulators based on real patient data represents the next step in further surgical education and training.

After 6 years of intensive research, the time had come and in August 2015 we took the plunge and decided to taking the step into the free economy. We now offer worldwide training courses for spine surgeons, from beginner to expert, supported by our RealSpine instructors.

We continue to develop our technologies and training concepts, researching new methodologies and ways to make surgical training more effective.
